“Corky” was born in Youngstown, Ohio where he obtained his secondary education. He earned his undergraduate degree from Case Western Reserve University in Clevelend, Ohio and attended medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. Following his internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, he served in the United States Army for two years. He then came to Colorado where he completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Research Fellowship in Cardiology, and subsequently his Clinical Fellowship. He has been in private practice with South Denver Cardiology Associates since 1982, and was one of the first cardiologists in Colorado to perform coronary angioplasty (a procedure that is now performed over 1 million times annually in the US).

Dr. Weily is a member of the Colorado Medical Society and the Arapahoe Medical Society. He has authored 28 medical publications and now focuses on noninvasive cardiology. He has two children and, as almost everyone knows, Dr. Weily is an avid golfer.
