Cardiac Sonographer (PRN) Responsibilities:
- Perform all 2-dimensional echos, M-Mode, and Doppler studies in an outpatient setting.
- Prepare preliminary interpretation of those studies. Gives opinion and/or explanation of data/images at physicians request.
- Maintains production and quality of echocardiogram studies by following established standards and procedures.
- Knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology.
- Ability to apply theory to practice in the application of ultrasound technique to the clinical evaluation of the target anatomy.
- Documents patient care services by organizing all data obtained for physician interpretation.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Vascular/Cardiac Sonography.
- RDCS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer.
- BLS certified.
- Minimum 3 years experience in cardiac sonography.
- Background check required (includes credit, justice, worker's comp, drug test)
- Vascular experience preferred.
Nuclear Technologist (PRN) Responsibilities:
- Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear cardiology studies.
- Performs patient imaging procedures using radiation-detecting instrumentation.
- Accomplishes computer processing and image enhancement.
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.
- Gains the patient's confidence by obtaining pertinent history, describing the procedure and answering any questions.
- Monitors the patient's physical condition during the course of the procedure.
- Notes any specific patient comments which might indicate the need for additional images, or might be useful to the physician in interpreting the results of the procedure.
- Knowledge and adherence to NRC and ICANL guidelines.
- Provide emergency care, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification.
- Background check required (includes credit, justice, worker's comp, drug test)
- BLS certification.
Clinical Office Nurse (Full Time Position) Responsibilities:
- Must maintain patient confidentiality and privacy per current HIPAA regulations.
- Responsible for triaging patients, by phone or in person. Must incorporate the use of established protocols, critical thinking, prioritizing, and delegation to resolve patient needs.
- Oversees the communication of all prescription requests by confirming with Physician and the pharmacy of accuracy.
- Will educate patients on their medical conditions, symptoms, and the possible effects or adverse reactions that may occur with medications.
- Review diagnostic test results with physicians. Differentiates normal results from abnormal results and obtains recommendations from the Physician on next steps. Informs patient of results and recommendation.
- Routinely see patients in the clinic for blood pressure management, medication titration, arrhythmia management, and congestive heart failure exacerbations.
- Will assist in management of Warfarin patients per protocol.
- Documents all patient care activities in patient record.
- Assists in pre and post procedure education.
- Must be equipped in gaining patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of procedures, and answering questions.
- Acts as a resource for the medical assistants and non-clinical staff.
- Assists the diagnostic team in administering pharmacological agents for diagnostic testing. Provides routine and emergent care as directed.
- Is an active member of code blue team. Responsibilities include BLS/ACLS protocols.
- Complies with federal, state, local, legal, and professional requirements by adhering to requirements and advising management of needed actions.
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
Qualifications/Education:
- Registered Nurse with a current Colorado license. ACLS within 3 months of hire. BLS, cardiology experience preferred.
- Lifting requirements not to exceed 25 lbs.

Telecommunications Phone Specialist (Full Time Position) Responsibilities:
- Answer, triage and route multiple phone lines.
- Management of high call volume.
- Assist Physicians and staff in placing and transferring calls.
- Ability to learn and provide Alpha Numeric paging needs.
- Manage incoming hospital requests according to set protocol.
- Key player and participant in alerting entire building of emergencies.
- Assist callers with directions to all office locations.
- Take messages when required and maintain said records of all communications.
- Follow all established call handling protocol as provided by the Supervisor.
- Maintain Patient confidentiality regulations.
- Assists in any additional clerical duties requested by the Supervisor.
- Represent our practice and facility to referring physicians, patients and all other callers, in a positive and pleasant manner.
Qualifications/Education: - Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
- Excellent usage of multi-phone line system and heavy computer use.
- Friendly and professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with others.
- Flexibility, promptness and desire to be a team player.

Cardiac Cath Nurse (Full Time Position) Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations.
- Addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the cath lab environment.
- Communicates with the physician continuously and as needed about patient condition.
- Assists with the maintenance of equipment and inventory.
- Assesses procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.
- Obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of the Cardiac Cath Laboratory team are met.
- Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedure.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
- Responsible for admitting, recovering and discharging of patients from the Cardiac Cath Laboratory. Provides follow-up.
- Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other health team members as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
- Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy. This includes post-procedure assessments.
- Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
- Approaches patient in a kind, gentle manner.
- Demonstrates the ability to handle emergency situations.
Qualifications/Education:
- Management experience and/or interest preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse with a current Colorado license.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Minimum of one year work experience in a Cardiac Catherization Laboratory or critical care.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Tools and equipment used: - Proficient in interpreting EKGs and hemodynamic pressure tracings.
- Operates various equipment: x-rays table, pressure injector, defibrillator, etc.
Clinical Medical Assistant (Full Time Position) Responsibilities:
- Must maintain patient confidentiality and privacy per current HIPAA regulations.
- Must be able to establish rapport with patients easily and be customer service focused.
- Needs to be able to communicate so as to reduce anxieties, providing explanations of treatment and answering questions for a variety of patients.
- Assists patients and physicians by escorting patients from lobby to exam rooms, obtaining vital signs, getting medication list and preparing patients for examination.
- Obtains diagnostic data by performing point of care testing/treatments such as protimes, EKGs, BIOZs, and pulse oximetry.
- Performs clerical duties such as checking patients in and out, filling out disability forms, correcting/editing dictation inaccuracies, managing charts and obtaining physician signatures.
- Complies with federal, state, local, and professional requirements to keep licensing in good standing and by advising management of needed updates.
- Performs EECP once trained and certified.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Prepares, cleans, and stocks exam rooms in the morning and after each exam.
- Coordinates communications by facilitating telephone communications for physicians, insurance companies and others.
Qualifications/Education:
- Certified as a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
- Lifting requirements do not exceed 25 pounds.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License.
