No one likes a broken heart, but did you know it can happen for real? Broken Heart Syndrome is real, more common in women than men and related to extreme stress. The symptoms of this condition are very similar a heart attack including chest, jaw pain and shortness of breath. With this particular syndrome it is not a problem with the arteries, but a with the heart muscle. Only a cardiologist can tell the difference so if you experience any of these symptoms call 911 immediately.
