Randy Cupps Graduated from Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado, in 1983 with a degree in Physical Education and Exercise Physiology. Randy joined South Denver Cardiology in 1986 when it was South Denver Cardiac Rehabilitation as an Exercise Physiologist conducting a wide variety of Graded Exercise Testing. The American College of Sports Medicine certifies him as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist. In 2005 after almost 20 years of service, he resigned from SDCA to pursue a position in sales, working for a building materials manufacturing company as an Account Manager. His primary sales focus was large commercial, medical, retail, hospitality, and multi-family projects. Some were reaching more than 400 million dollars. In 2012 Randy returned to SDCA as the Physician Relations / Business Development / Marketing Manager. Randy has been an Emergency Medical Technician since 1980, working in the past for Swedish Medical Center Emergency Department and local ambulance service. FEMA credentials him in several ICS & NDMS levels. He currently is a volunteer with the Colorado Volunteer Mobilizer medical reserve unit, Arapahoe County Amature Radio Emergency Service, and Littleton Adventist Hospital HERT (Hospital Emergency Response Team). Randy connects South Denver Cardiology to the community by teaching a Hands-Only CPR class at the Heart Center once a month. He is a volunteer and a trained instructor with the American Red Cross in Active Threat, Stop the Bleed, and Hands-Only CPR. You can find Randy storm chasing during the spring and summer as he is a trained weather spotter with the National Weather Service.

Randy married his wife Michelle in 2005, and they share three children and three grandchildren. He enjoys riding a tandem bicycle with his wife and loves anything outdoors in the mountains or on a beach. Randy is also a professional photographer who spent 30 years shooting weddings and portraits but now enjoys astrophotography.
