David Schuchman, M.D.

General Cardiology

Dr. David Schuchman, son of South Denver Cardiology Associate Dr. Harvey Schuchman, started his career at SDCA many years ago as a technician. After years of watching Dad, he decided to pursue his medical career in the specialty of cardiology and now has the privilege of practicing with his father. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Arizona.

He then completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona and Affiliated Hospitals Program in Tucson, Arizona. He is board-certified cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology. He completed his Fellowship at the University of Texas, Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, and is also board certified in cardiovascular diseases. He received the honor of Magnum Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, along with Outstanding Scholar-Athlete, Division 1 Varsity Lacrosse during his college career.

Before attending medical school, Dr. Schuchman studied molecular biology in the areas of shark immunology and plant sciences. He and his wife Michelle have three beautiful daughters.
