General Cardiology

Dr. Grant Bailey joined South Denver Cardiology in August of 2016.  Grant was born in a small farming community in rural Michigan, attending undergraduate at Grand Valley State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude.  He received his medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, caring for the under-served urban population in Detroit.  Dr. Bailey was president of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society at Wayne State during his third and fourth years of medical school.  He then left Michigan to do his internship, residency, and cardiology fellowship at Yale in New Haven, CT.  He was elected a fellow of the year at Yale-New Haven Hospital during his first year of fellowship. Dr. Bailey is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.

Just prior to starting with South Denver, Dr. Bailey married his wife who is doing a fellowship at the University Hospital in pulmonary and critical care medicine.  Grant and his wife are excited to enjoy all that Denver has to offer, as they are avid skiers, bikers, and hikers.
