The son of a respected Indiana family doctor, Harvey Schuchman was a resident when he helped out in his father’s office. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees at the Indiana University. He then obtained his internship and Residency in Internal Medicine and his Cardiology Fellowship at Indiana University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases, and a Fellow of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology. He is also a member of the Colorado Society for Cardiovascular Medicine and is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Schuchman’s special interest is in interventional cardiology, and he is one of five South Denver Cardiologists that perform coronary revascularization procedures. Dr. Schuchman is married, with three children – the oldest of whom practice with his father at South Denver Cardiology! He enjoys biking, skiing, and opera.
