Interventional Cardiologist

Dr. Jeb Burchenal was born in New York and obtained his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry (Magna Cum Laude) at Princeton and his Medical Degree at Cornell (where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society). Jeb then completed his medical residency at Johns Hopkins and his Cardiology Fellowship at The Brigham Women’s Hospital and Harvard University. Following a three-year faculty position at the University of Pittsburgh, he joined the faculty at the University of Colorado Health Science Center, where he specialized in cardiovascular interventions. After four and a half years, he was lured from the University to practice with SDCA.

Jeb is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He has numerous publications and enjoyed support from numerous grants at the University. His professional interests are related to the management of myocardial infarction and acute coronary syndromes.

Dr. Burchenal is married and has two children. He enjoys running, skiing and other outdoor activities and has completed several ultramarathons, including the Leadville 100.
